WE ARE FINALISTS IN THE YORKSHIRE ACCOUNTANCY AWARDS 2023!

The Yorkshire Accountancy Awards is the region’s premier event in the accountancy and finance calendar. We are a finalist in the Audit Service award category!

The awards, now in their sixth year, are the benchmark by which professionals and organisations within our sector judge themselves and the service we deliver. The awards celebrate the achievements and successes of the region’s best and brightest professionals and firms, so we couldn’t be happier to have impressed the independent judging panel to reach the final in the Audit Service category!

On announcing our finalist status, the judges said:

We had a fantastic response and lots of entries for our independent judging panel to review. The debates were fierce and the results close, but your entry shone through and we’re pleased to be able to recognise you as a finalist.

Our entry required us to provide an overview of our Audit services and how they meet our client’s needs, how our technical ability contributes towards exceptional client service, how our service delivery is innovative and what sets our Audit service apart from our competition. A few things our entry covered include the planning, procedures and workflow we implement to deliver our Audit services, the growth, training and development programme that supports and nurtures our team and the software and technical tools we use to conduct and report on Audits. We were also asked to provide endorsements from happy clients, and they were thrilled to support us!

Our Head of Audit, Richard Walker said:

I’m delighted that we’ve been shortlisted for the Audit Service Award. Credit to the audit and wider team, plus the great clients we get to work with. An achievement in itself but fingers crossed we can go one step further at the awards in February!

The awards categories are designed to encourage nominations from small independent, mid-tier and large firms, while also offering a wide range of individual and team awards, with a view to enabling the very best of regional practice to be scrutinised, recognised and rewarded. An independent panel of local and national experts from the profession judge the awards every year. The process culminates in a black-tie ceremony and dinner, which will take place on 23 February 2023 at New Dock Hall in Leeds and promises to be a must-attend event.

Making the shortlist for the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards is an achievement in itself, so we couldn’t be prouder of our audit team for getting this far. We have our fingers crossed for an accolade from the awards ceremony, keep an eye on our social media feeds for news in February!
